Lake Titicaca Full Day Tour

  • 07:40 – 09:00 Climb aboard the boat, and head out to the inhabited Floating Islands of the Uros for a guided tour. Discover how the Uros people make their home islands entirely from the lake reeds which grow in Titicaca, the totora reed. See how the small community of people live and forge a subsistent lifestyle on these floating islands in the middle of Lake Titicaca!
  • 09:00 – 12:00 Following your visit of Uros, hop back on the speed boat and ride out to the Island of Taquile. Sunbathe on the top deck, snap some photos of your magnificent surroundings, or simply watch the world go by on the world’s highest navigable lake!
  • 12:00 – 14:00 Let the guided tour of Taquile Island take you on a journey, as you learn the traditional history, lifestyle and cultures of the island community who call this place home. Taquile Island, until recently, was closed off to the rest of the world. Enjoy a delicious lunch, and go for a walk along the island to catch some breath-taking views.
  • 14:30 Return speed boat ride to Puno. Sit back, and enjoy the peacefulness of the lake.
  • 16:00 – 16:10 Arrive into Puno, be taken back to your hotel or hostel.
