Full Day Trip to Ica (Paracas & Huacachina)

06.00 – 10.00: Pickup at your hostel in Lima. Direct bus to Paracas. Paracas is a beautiful small town by the sea.

10.00 – 12.00: 2 Hour Boat Tour of the Ballestas Islands – The Ballestas are Peru’s cheaper version of the Galapagos. Take a speedboat to the rocky Islands where you will see sea lions, penguins and lots of birds in their natural habitat. If you ́re lucky you may even spot dolphins!

13.15 – 14.15: Direct Bus Paracas to Huacachina. Huacachina is a small natural oasis located in the Ica desert.

16.00 – 18.00: 2 hour Dune Buggy and Sandboarding Tour – Ride the Dune Buggies up and sandboard down the biggest dunes in South America. A once in a lifetime experience at South America’s only Desert Oasis.

19.00 – 23.45: Bus from Huacachina to Lima – drop off at your hostel in Lima.

NOTE: For the Easter (Semana Santa) weekend the Ballestas tours on these dates will last only one and a half hours in duration and the Sandboarding/dune buggy (Huacachina) will last ONLY 1 hour. This is the same for ALL tour operators.

NOTE: For Independence Day the Sandboarding/dunebuggy (Huacachina) last ONLY 1 hour (all operators) and Ballestas Islands (Paracas) last ONLY 1 hour and 30 minutes (all operators)
